  • Hello! My name is Guy Bloom, the Executive Coaching Guru.
  • I am an ‘executive coach and leadership development consultant’ focused on delivering Transformational Leadership to senior managment and emerging leader groups.
  • Prior to this I was the Group Talent Manager for Homeserve Plc, a FTSE 200 support services company operating within four countries (UK, USA, Spain, France). My primary focus was the development of the executive teams across 9 subsidiary boards- Coaching, Team Dynamics, Away Days, Psychometrics, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Career Development, Assessment and On-boarding. During my 3 years at Homeserve the business grew annual profits from £45m to £85m and the market capitalisation increased from £350m to £1.2billion.
  • Previously heading the Learning & Development function for RBS Insurance delivering development to 25,000 colleagues nationally during this period, project managing the largest ‘systems and culture integration’ training project within the UK, during the markets most influential merger that decade.
  • I have contracted as a senior consultant delivering a ‘competency based’ Career Progression process for Birmingham City Council, the UK’s largest Local Authority.
  • Managed a critical learning & development project for the unification of all credit services hubs across independently owned franchised networks for Telewest.
  • Headed up development for a ‘start up’ telecommunication business (Total Network Solutions) helping them achieve CISCO Systems Gold Partner Status, Reseller of the Year and Finalists in Company of the Year & Finalist in Entrepreneur of the Year until being acquired by BT.
  • Throughout my career I have ‘Coached & Mentored’ some 300+ Senior and Executive Managers enabling many people to make the steps that enable a rewarding career and fruitful home life through the application of proven performance models.
  • Before moving into learning/organisational development I was an account manager for Austin Benn a leading Commercial Sales Headhunting Consultancy.
  • Master NLP Practitioner and trained clinical hypnotist.
  • British Psychological Association – Level A+B: MBTI (Myers Briggs) I & II, 16pf, Firob, SDI.
  • Master Coach with the Behavioral Coaching Institute.
  • I’m very proud to have been asked to facilitate ‘Emerging leader and Strategic Leadership programs’ for the Windsor Leadership Trust and will commence this in 2009.
  • I have a vast experience of teaching both the physical and mental aspects of the martial arts and I will eagerly expound the need to understand the link between body, mind and spirit; and if you really push me how this operates at an organisational level.
